Strengths or Positive Qualities of Our Church:
Zion Countryside Church is a small country church in a rural setting in the southeast corner of Nebraska. We are a friendly, loving church family, where you can be yourself, and grow with God. We celebrate the love of Christ by serving others, and encouraging each other.
We believe that we are to be witnesses to the world in which we live, through deeds and actions.
We love serving our community through outreach events, that in turn allow us the opportunity to discover our gifts and talents.
We not only support many programs in our local community, but also across the country. Many of our members have served on mission trips around the world.
Our members volunteer to work auctions, pancake feeds and other fundraisers that support Five Star Bible Camp, a summer Bible school program that is held for a week at Camp Jefferson outside of Fairbury.
We enjoy fun and fellowship together. This includes fishing trips, fish fries, hayrack rides, caroling, soup suppers, and ice cream socials. We love to sing and have had a Christmas Cantata with members from 5 community churches.
